Drivers’ League 2008

Frequently asked questions

How/ where can I register my company?
The transport company must register on behalf of their drivers, and can register all vehicles/ drivers online at www.driversleague.com. Here any changes to an existing registration can also be made.
To register, the customer has to select “registration” from the menu on the Drivers’ League website and log in with their FleetBoard username and password. After this they will be guided step-by-step through the registration process.

How does the ranking system work?
There is a driver-related evaluation based on the driver cards. Therefore every driver’s performance is important. The FleetBoard driving style grading is decisive for the driver’s league ranking and will be influenced by the consumption and brake related criteria. The consumption-related criteria, for example, includes compliance with the optimum engine characteristics map, generating as few engine revolutions as possible per distance covered (highest gear as possible), smooth driving and the avoidance of top speeds. Where brake-related factors are concerned, the aim is to avoid both braking losses and stop/start actions. The route itself also makes a difference, i. e. if you are driving on a flat surface against rolling resistance or negotiating a downward slope with a full load.
Please find further economic driving hints in the Training section.

How many drivers can be registered?
There is no limit on the number of drivers who can be registered to the driver’s league 2008 by one company. But only up to three drivers from each company can take part in the final master-class challenge.

Which data will be published and where?
