To participate in the FleetBoard Drivers' League 2008 you need to be  driver of a Mercedes Benz truck with the FleetBoard service performance analysis and fitted with the Telligent brake system. The registration and assessment is relating to drivers. Hence it is necessary to have either FleetBoard driver cards or digital tachograph driver cards within the fleet and allocate them to the registered drivers.

For each driver the ranking will result from the driving style grading and degree of difficulty within the time period.  This will be done automatically via FleetBoard performance analysis which provides information on how cost-effectively the truck is performing based on relevant driving data. This data includes, for example, the driver's gear-changing and braking behaviour, speed changes and the resulting consumption and wear data.

Each truck has to cover a minimum distance of 4,000 km in the whole period by each driver. Detailed information about competition rules can be found in the attached document in the right hand corner above.
